The SHAHE 5000 digital calliper with a range of 0 to 200 mm is designed for anyone who needs to measure larger parts than a standard fifteen. The ruler, jaws, and depth gauge are made of stainless steel, and the electronics are protected by a silver plastic housing. The result is displayed on an LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm, eliminating the need for tedious readings from a vernier scale. The calliper can handle external and internal diameters, the depth of holes, and the height of seating. The total length reaches 287 mm.

The external jaws measure 50 mm, while the internal jaws measure 24 mm, allowing access to dimensions deeper from the edge of the workpiece. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.03 mm for this range, and the position of the slider is detected by a glass measuring grid. With the unit change button, you can switch between millimetres and inches, and the ZERO button allows you to set zero at any position, making it easy to compare two parts with each other. The slider is moved with a metal wheel under the display and is secured by a metal locking screw.

The battery is inserted under the round plastic cover on the front of the housing, which can be opened by twisting. After use, turn off the calliper, wipe the measuring surfaces with a dry cloth, and store it in the supplied case, where it is protected from drops, dust, and scratches on the display. If not used for an extended period, remove the battery. Before measuring, always close the jaws and ensure the display shows zero, or reset it if necessary. Do not use the jaws for scribing or prying.

The SHAHE 5000 calliper with a range of 200 mm is suitable for use in engineering, locksmith workshops, car services, carpentry, and modelling. Its IP54 rating protects it against dust and splashing water, making it suitable for dusty workshop environments. The stainless steel construction and four measuring modes cover most common tasks without additional tools. The longer ruler is appreciated for flanges, pipes, boards, and larger workpieces.
