The set of four Fenice scissors, measuring 6.5 inches, includes straight, curved, thinning, and chunker scissors, providing a complete toolkit for cutting and shaping dog coats. All scissors have an overall length of 16.5 cm and a blade length of 7.1 cm. The blades are made from 9Cr stainless steel, which is wear-resistant. The straight scissors are used for cutting hair over larger areas, the curved scissors shape the head and paws, the thinning scissors gently thin the coat, and the chunker scissors quickly lighten thick fur. This set is suitable for beginner groomers as well as for more demanding home grooming.
The thinning scissors feature 32 teeth with a thinning rate of 20 to 25%, allowing for gradual hair removal and softening transitions. The chunker scissors have 17 wide teeth and, according to the manufacturer, remove 70 to 75% of the coat, making them suitable for quickly shortening voluminous areas with a natural finish. The curved scissors have a blade angled at 25 to 30 degrees and can be used to cut in both upward and downward arcs. All scissors have an ergonomic handle with a finger rest, a precision screw made on a CNC machine, and a resin shock absorber that reduces impacts and clicking sounds.

Before grooming, comb the fur with the included comb. Use the straight scissors to even out the length, lighten bulky areas with the chunker scissors, shape rounded areas with the curved scissors, and finally soften transitions with the thinning scissors. Use the scissors with teeth on dry fur, cutting gradually and combing the fur again between cuts. After use, remove hair from the blades and teeth and wipe the scissors with a cloth. Adjust the screw tension with the adjustment key. Store them in the case between uses, protect them from falls, as a bent tooth could catch the fur, and do not cut anything other than fur with them. Keep stored scissors clean, dry, and out of reach of children.
