The TTC Frozen V2 silent linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want a smooth action without a tactile bump and the quietest keystroke possible. This is the second generation of the Frozen model, which features a transparent plastic upper and lower housing, along with a white-silver spring and contact leaf inside. The switches have 3 pins and an MX type cross stem, which allows you to use standard keycaps. The actuation force is only 39 gf, making the keys easy to press, and your fingers won't tire as much even during extended typing sessions. The set includes 60 switches, sufficient for a keyboard with up to sixty keys or for replacing the main key parts.

The damping is provided by a ring on the stem and a pad at the bottom of the switch, which dampens the impact of the key when pressed and when it returns to its original position. The transparent housing, along with the light guide inside the switch, allows the RGB backlighting of the keyboard to shine through, dispersing the light throughout the entire key. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 mm and the total travel distance is 3.5 mm, resulting in a short and even action throughout. The manufacturer specifies a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, ensuring the switches can withstand intensive daily typing and gaming.

Before replacing, ensure that your keyboard supports MX type switches with 3 pins, whether in hot-swap sockets or soldered onto the board. Check that the pins are not bent before inserting, and if they are, carefully straighten them. Insert the switch vertically and without excessive force to avoid bending or breaking the pins. Attach the keycaps straight onto the cross stem, and when removing them, use a suitable puller. Until you install the switches in the keyboard, store them in a dry place and protect them from dust.

The TTC Frozen V2 switches are suitable for typing in the office, in shared spaces, or at home when you do not want to disturb those around you with loud clicking.
