This set of three traditional Chinese brushes is designed for calligraphy, writing characters with ink, and free painting. The brushes feature a wooden handle finished with a dark ferrule and a tip made of soft white hair, suitable for working with ink as well as colours. Each brush has a different tip size, so in one set you will find a large, medium, and small brush for varying stroke thicknesses. The new brushes have their tips secured with glue, which protects the hair during transport. Before first use, soak the tip in clean water, let it soak for a while, and then gently squeeze the hair with your fingers down to the root until it fully loosens. Rinse away any remaining glue in clean water and carefully wipe off any excess water from the tip. After each use, thoroughly rinse the brush, reshape the tip to a point, and let it dry hanging from the loop.
This set of three calligraphy brushes offers basic tip sizes for writing Chinese characters and for painting. Three tip sizes allow for alternating between bold and fine strokes depending on what you are creating. The wooden handle with a dark ferrule and the loop facilitate drying and storing the brushes between uses. How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
