The ring stretching set with a step mandrel on a base is a jewellery tool for adjusting rings that are too tight on the finger. The main component of the set is the step mandrel on a base with seven steps ranging from 16.5 to 24 mm in diameter. The mandrel stands on a round base with a diameter of 90 mm, allowing you to work hands-free while having both hands free for the ring. The base has a height of 30 mm and, thanks to its wide base, the mandrel stands independently on the workbench. Both tapered rods are 130 mm long with a diameter of 15 mm at the base. Their lower end is knurled, ensuring a good grip even during prolonged use. Before adjusting, place the ring on the mandrel and determine which step it rests on. Then work gradually in small increments and test the ring on your finger between adjustments to avoid over-stretching it. Smooth bands without stones are the easiest to adjust. For rings with stones, engravings, or very thin bands, proceed with increased caution. The tapered rods will be used to correct the shape of the band if the ring is not perfectly round after stretching. After use, wipe the parts with a dry cloth and store them in a dry place to keep them clean.
