The pack of 20 removable sliders size S is designed for anyone who frequently repairs zips – seamstresses, clothing repairers, upholsterers or DIY enthusiasts. The slider is fitted directly onto the teeth of the narrow zip and secured with a screw and nut, allowing repairs without unpicking, a needle, or a sewing machine. The body of the slider is made from nylon, while the screw and nut are metal. Each piece has its own pull tab made from nylon cord with a non-slip handle. All twenty sliders are the same, ensuring that the stock lasts for many repairs of the same type.
Size S fits zips no. 3, whose teeth have a width of 3 to 4.5 mm when closed. Such zips are commonly found on women's wallets, cosmetic bags, cushions, skirts, bedding or mosquito nets. You can easily check the width with a sliding caliper or ruler on the closed part of the zip, or measure the internal width of the original slider. The slider itself measures 8 x 24 mm and does not appear obtrusive on fine fabrics. Size S does not fit wider zips on jackets, backpacks, suitcases or tents; a larger slider is required for those. Larger packs are also beneficial where multiple items of the same product are being repaired at once, such as a set of cushions or several duvet covers.

The fitting procedure is the same for all pieces. Thread the pull cord through the hole in the head of the slider and tighten it firmly. Loosen the screw, place the head of the slider onto the teeth of the zip so that it lies exactly on the centre line, and tighten the screw again. Then simply pull the tab and the zip will start to fasten. Tighten the screw carefully so that the slider holds firmly while still moving smoothly along the teeth. If the zip catches, loosen the screw slightly and adjust the position of the head.
Twenty sliders in one pack represent a practical stock for a sewing box, repair shop, or workshop. The dimension 8 x 24 mm corresponds to narrow zips on small textile products. The attachment using a metal screw allows the slider to be removed and used elsewhere at any time. The black colour is discreet and suits most fabrics. - We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
