Redragon Red linear switches are replacement mechanical switches for keyboards with a cross stem type MX. The package contains 30 pcs of the same switches, allowing you to replace the most used keys or an entire block of keys, such as WASD, arrow keys, and the space bar. The Red type is among the switches with the lightest touch, the press goes smoothly straight down and up without a tactile bump and without a click. The switches feature 3 pins, two copper contact pins with a diameter of about 0.9 mm and a plastic centre pin for stable seating on the board. They are suitable for gaming as well as for typing, where you want a quick response and a light touch.
The top cover of the switch is made of transparent plastic, which allows light from the diodes under the key to shine through well. The manufacturer states that the switches are compatible with keyboards that have SMD LED diodes, standard inserted LED diodes, and four-legged RGB diodes. The bottom part of the housing is black and the stem is red, inside there is a spring and a copper contact. The switch has a dustproof construction, with a plastic barrier around the stem limiting the ingress of dust into the switch and helping to maintain consistent operation even with prolonged use.

Replacing a switch is simple. First, remove the keycap, then place the switch puller, press the switch clips with it, and pull the switch out of the board. Align the new switch with the holes in the board and push it straight down until it clicks, then replace the keycap. Pulling out and inserting switches without tools is only possible with keyboards that have hot-swap sockets; for keyboards without them, it is necessary to desolder the old switches and solder in the new ones. Before inserting, check that the pins are not bent, and if necessary, carefully straighten them.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
