Before the first use, rinse the vases and fill them with clean water up to about two-thirds of their volume. Insert the cutting neck-first so that the bottom end of the stem is submerged and the leaves remain above the water level. Change the water as needed to keep it clean, and simply pull the vases out of the frame when changing. Wipe the wooden frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth and protect it from prolonged contact with water. Once the cutting has developed sufficiently strong roots, you can transplant it into a pot with substrate and place another cutting in the vases.
