Peat pots for seedlings are used for seed germination and pre-growing vegetables and flowers, which you will later plant outside in the garden, and they are also suitable for use in horticultural nurseries. The package contains 40 pcs of brown pots with a diameter of 8 cm, made from biodegradable pulp. When sowing, fill the pot with substrate, insert the seed, cover it with soil, and let the seedling grow until it reaches a suitable size for planting. The grown seedling can then be planted into the bed with the pot, so you do not need to remove it from the container, and its roots can grow through the wall into the surrounding soil. Drainage holes at the bottom allow excess water to drain from the substrate, and the walls made of absorbent, breathable material take in water and allow air to reach the roots.

  • Dimensions: top diameter 8 cm, height 8 cm, and bottom diameter 5 cm.
  • Size tolerance: there may be a deviation of approximately 0.5 cm due to manual measurement.

Thanks to the number of pieces in the package, you can simultaneously sow several types of vegetables or flowers and grow each plant separately in its own pot, making their later placement in the bed easier. Since the seedlings are planted with the pot, the root ball remains intact during transplanting, and there is no need to pull the plant out of the container or disturb its roots before planting. The pulp will gradually decompose in the soil in approximately 1–4 months, so there is no need to remove or discard the pots after planting. Unused pieces can be stored nested inside each other in a small space and used for the next sowing.
