Paracord 550 Survival is a durable braided cord that conceals several practical tools for outdoor use in addition to the standard load-bearing strands. The package contains one bundle with a length of 7.5 m, which is equivalent to 25 feet. The cord has a diameter of 4 mm, making it comfortable to handle, easy to knot, and suitable for a wide range of tasks while camping or hiking. You can use it to pitch a tent or tarp, hang equipment between trees, temporarily bind a backpack, or make minor repairs to your gear. Thanks to its compact bundle, it takes up little space in your backpack and can always be at hand.
The main advantage of this cord is its core made up of ten inner strands. Seven of these consist of classic inner strands of paracord, which provide strength to the cord and can be used separately as thinner string when unraveled. The remaining three strands consist of cotton thread, yellow PE fishing line, and red waterproof linen tinder. The tinder can be separated into individual fibres or formed into a nest and ignited with a spark, helping you to start a fire even in damp weather. The fishing line can be used in an emergency with a hook for catching fish.
- Type – paracord 550 with hidden survival tools
- Length – 7.5 m (25 feet)
- Diameter – 4 mm
- Number of Inner Strands – 10
- Core Composition – 7 inner strands, 1 PE fishing line, 1 linen tinder, and 1 cotton thread
- Fire Starter – waterproof linen tinder for ignition with a spark
- Usage – camping, hiking, survival, shelter building, and paracord crafting
- Package Contents – 1 paracord cord with a length of 7.5 m
You can use the cord as a regular rope for securing tents, tarps, or hammocks, for a clothesline at the campsite, or for attaching equipment to your backpack. It is also suitable for crafting with paracord, such as making bracelets, keychains, handle wraps, or leads. When crafting, the core remains inside, so you always have the survival tools with you. After use, allow the cord to dry and store it coiled in a dry place to prevent the inner strands from becoming unnecessarily soaked and to keep the tinder ready for use.
Paracord 550 Survival is a practical addition to any outdoor gear, emergency pack, or backpack for longer trips. It combines a classic braided cord with three small tools that can be handy in nature when you least expect it. The core with PE fishing line and linen tinder makes it more than just an ordinary string. The bundle of seven and a half meters is lightweight and compact, so you can take it almost anywhere. It will be appreciated by campers, anglers, scouts, bushcraft enthusiasts, and anyone who wants a reliable cord at hand in the outdoors.
