Outemu Silent Lemon V3 tactile switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want to feel a distinct tactile point while typing as quietly as possible. This is the third generation of Outemu's silent switches featuring a new damping silicone strip, which ensures that the noise of a keystroke with a keycap installed does not exceed 35 dB. The switches have 5 pins, which hold the switch more securely in the board than three pins, and can be inserted into hot-swap sockets or soldered. The package contains 110 switches, sufficient for equipping a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad of up to 108 keys, with several spares left over.
The stem is made from POM material, and both the upper and lower housings are made from PA66. The light guide, made from transparent PC material, has a transmittance of 95 %, allowing the switch to illuminate the RGB backlighting of the keyboard effectively. The switches are factory lubricated, providing a smooth action right out of the box without the need for further adjustment. The tactile point is reached at approximately 1.20 mm of travel, the switch actuates at 1.8 ± 0.6 mm, and the extended spring length of 21 mm ensures a quick and reliable return of the key to its original position. The manufacturer states a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes.

Before replacing, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins; they are not compatible with socket types that are not designed for switches. Before inserting into the keyboard, check that the pins are not bent, and if necessary, carefully straighten them. Insert the switch perpendicularly and gently to avoid bending the pins during insertion, and use a suitable puller when removing the original switches.
Outemu Silent Lemon V3 switches are suitable for typing in the office, in shared spaces, or at home when you want clear feedback with each keystroke without disturbing your surroundings with loud clicking. The tactile action with a tactile point at a force of 50 ± 10 gf provides a clear response without a click, so you will know exactly when the key has actuated. The large pack of 110 pcs is enough for a complete full-size keyboard including a numeric keypad, allowing you to upgrade it all at once with a uniform feel. The translucent green housing with a yellow-green stem gives the keyboard a fresh look, and it appears even more striking with backlighting. Thanks to the factory lubrication and damping, the switches are ready to use immediately after unboxing.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
