Outemu Silent Lemon V3 silent tactile switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want to feel a distinct tactile point while typing as quietly as possible. This is the third generation of Outemu's silent switches featuring a new damping silicone strip, which ensures that the noise of a keystroke with a keycap installed does not exceed 35 dB. The switches have 5 pins, which hold the switch more securely in the board than three pins, and they can be inserted into hot-swap sockets or soldered. The pack contains 90 pcs of switches, which is sufficient to equip a keyboard in a 75% layout or TKL without a numeric keypad, with some spares remaining.
The stem is made from POM material, while the upper and lower housings are made from PA66. The light guide made from transparent PC material has a transmittance of 95 %, allowing the switch to illuminate the keyboard's RGB backlighting effectively. The switches are factory lubricated, resulting in a smooth operation right out of the box, and no additional adjustments are necessary. The tactile point is reached after approximately 1.20 mm of travel, the switch actuates after 1.8 ± 0.6 mm, and the extended spring length of 21 mm ensures a quick and reliable return of the key to its original position. The manufacturer states a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes.

Before replacing, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins, as they are not compatible with socket types that use a sleeve. Before inserting into the keyboard, check that the pins are not bent, and carefully straighten them if necessary. Insert the switch vertically and gently to avoid bending the pins during insertion, and use a suitable puller when removing the original switches.
Outemu Silent Lemon V3 switches are suitable for typing in an office, shared space, or at home, where you want clear feedback with each keystroke while not disturbing the surroundings with loud clicking. The tactile operation with a tactile point at a force of 50 ± 10 gf provides a distinct response without a click, so you can easily tell when the key has actuated. The pack of 90 pcs covers both 75% and TKL keyboard layouts, allowing you to upgrade the entire keyboard at once, with a few spares left for later. The translucent green housing with a yellow-green stem gives the keyboard a fresh look, and with backlighting, it appears even more striking. Thanks to the factory lubrication and damping, the switches are ready for use immediately after unboxing.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
