The Outemu Silent Lemon V3 silent tactile switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want to feel a distinct tactile bump while typing as quietly as possible. This is the third generation of Outemu silent switches featuring a new damping silicone strip, which ensures that the noise of a keystroke with the keycap installed does not exceed 35 dB. The switches have 5 pins, which hold the switch more securely in the board than three pins, and they can be inserted into hot-swap sockets or soldered. The pack contains 70 switches, which is sufficient to outfit a compact keyboard in 60% or 65% layout, with a few extra pieces left as spares.
The stem is made from POM material, and both the top and bottom housings are made from PA66. The light guide made from transparent PC material has a transmittance of 95 %, allowing the switch to illuminate the RGB backlighting of the keyboard effectively. The switches are factory lubricated, providing a smooth action straight out of the box, and there is no need for further adjustment. The tactile bump occurs at approximately 1.20 mm of travel, the switch actuates at 1.8 ± 0.6 mm, and the extended spring length of 21 mm ensures a quick and reliable return of the key to its original position. The manufacturer states a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes.

Before replacement, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins, as they are not compatible with socket types that use clips. Before inserting into the keyboard, check that the pins are not bent and carefully straighten them if necessary. Insert the switch perpendicularly and gently to avoid bending the pins during insertion, and use a suitable puller when removing the original switches.
The Outemu Silent Lemon V3 switches are suitable for typing in an office, shared space, or at home, where you want clear feedback with each keystroke while not disturbing others with loud clicking. The tactile action with a tactile bump at a force of 50 ± 10 gf provides a distinct response without a click, allowing you to know exactly when the key has actuated. The pack of 70 pcs is ideal for compact keyboards where you want to replace all switches at once and have a few pieces as a backup. The translucent green housing with a yellow-green stem gives the keyboard a fresh look, and with backlighting, it appears even more striking. Thanks to the factory lubrication and damping, the switches are ready to use straight out of the box.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
