The moss poles in this set are designed for indoor climbing plants that enjoy climbing and developing aerial roots. The package contains 6 plastic pieces with a grid, each of which, when assembled, creates a column measuring 38 cm. The column is filled with moist peat or other moss, and the plant gradually attaches itself to it. The roots grow through the holes in the grid into the moist filling, allowing the plant to gain support and moisture along the entire length of the pole. Six pieces are suitable for a larger collection of climbing plants or for constructing taller supports that grow with the plant.
The pieces are delivered flat and can be assembled in no time. Simply fold the plastic film along two sides of the grid, insert the clips into the groove, and fill the resulting column with moss. The poles are stackable, so when the plant grows taller, you can add another piece to the top end and extend the support. Conversely, if you need a shorter pole for a smaller plant, the plastic can be trimmed with scissors.
Unlike wooden stakes or coconut poles, plastic does not rot in moisture, so the filling can remain permanently moist without concerns about the support itself. The transparent walls also allow you to observe how the roots grow into the moss and when it's time to re-moisten the filling.

Insert the finished column into the pot with the bottom end as close to the plant as possible and add substrate to ensure the pole stands firmly. The deeper the pot, the more stable the support will be. Attach the stems with the Velcro strap, which can be loosened and moved higher at any time. Keep the moss inside the pole moist by regularly misting or watering from the top, encouraging the aerial roots to grow into it.
The set with six pieces is suitable for growers who have multiple climbing plants at home or wish to construct a taller support from several pieces. Each piece measures 38 cm in length when assembled, and additional pieces can be easily added on top. The grid made of plastic holds the filling together and allows the roots plenty of space to grow. The two included rolls of Velcro strap are perfect for attaching to the stems. Just purchase peat, and the supports are ready to use.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
