Overview
Moss Poles for Climbing Plants 2 pcs 38 cm Stackable Plastic Support to Fill with Moss with Velcro Tape for Potting

The moss poles in this set are designed for indoor climbing plants that enjoy climbing and developing aerial roots. The package contains 2 plastic pieces with a grid, each of which, when assembled, creates a column measuring 38 cm. The column is filled with damp peat or other moss, and the plant gradually attaches itself to it. The roots grow through the holes in the grid into the moist filling, providing the plant with support and moisture along the entire length of the pole. The pair of poles is suitable for one larger plant that you wish to train upwards, or for two smaller plants in separate pots.

The pieces are delivered flat and can be assembled in no time. Simply fold the plastic film along two sides of the grid, insert the clips into the groove, and fill the resulting column with moss. The poles are stackable, so when the plant grows taller, you can add another piece to the top end to extend the support. Conversely, if you need a shorter pole for a smaller plant, the plastic can be trimmed with scissors.

Unlike wooden stakes or coconut poles, plastic does not rot in moisture, allowing the filling to remain consistently damp without concerns for the support itself. The transparent walls also enable you to observe how the roots grow into the moss and when it's time to rehydrate the filling.

Insert the finished column into the pot as close to the plant as possible, with the bottom end down, and add substrate to ensure the pole stands firmly. The deeper the pot, the more stable the support will be. Attach the stems with the Velcro tape, which you can loosen and move up at any time. Keep the moss inside the pole damp by regularly misting or watering from above, encouraging the aerial roots to grow into it.

The set with two pieces is a practical start for anyone who wants to train their climbing plants upwards along a moist support instead of a plain stake. Each piece measures 38 cm when assembled, and it can be connected to the second piece to form a taller pole. The grid made of plastic holds the filling together while allowing enough space for the roots to grow. The stems can be easily attached to the pole with the included Velcro tape. Just purchase some peat, and the support is ready for use.
