The MJ-TECH M14 thermal paste in a jar with 30 g of paste is the largest packaging of the more powerful M14 range and is suitable for use where paste is frequently replaced on various devices. The thermal conductivity of 14.8 W/m.K effectively transfers heat from the processor or graphics chip to the cooler even under heavy load. The paste fills in tiny imperfections between the chip and the cooler, where otherwise insulating air would remain. You can scoop the paste directly from the jar using the spatula and easily estimate the required amount. It is ideal for gaming PCs, workstations, laptops, consoles, and servers.
According to the manufacturer, the M14 paste has a thermal resistance of 0.03 °C·cm²/W and a density of 2.6 g/cm³. Before application, remove any remnants of old paste from the processor and the base of the cooler and clean both surfaces. Scoop a small amount of paste with the spatula, place it in the centre of the chip, and spread it in a thin layer, ideally around 0.1 mm according to the manufacturer. A thicker layer will not improve heat transfer, so apply sparingly. After each use, carefully close the jar with the lid and store it in a dry, cool place to prevent the paste from drying out. Clean the spatula after use to keep it ready for the next application.
