When ironing, choose a flat area on the garment and preheat the iron to approximately 150 °C. Place the letter adhesive side down and cover it with a cotton handkerchief or cloth to prevent damage to the plush or fabric from the high temperature. Press the iron down for about 20 to 30 seconds, then let the patch cool until the adhesive sets firmly. On sweaters, leather, mesh, and very smooth or coarse materials, it is advisable to additionally secure the letter with a few stitches.
