The illuminating LED valve lights replace ordinary valve caps and give bicycles a distinctive appearance at dusk and during the night. The package contains 2 pcs, which is just enough for the front and rear wheels of a bicycle or motorcycle. Each light consists of a shiny metal housing and a transparent tube, inside which is a LED diode. The light simply screws onto the valve thread in place of the original cap, and installation can be done in no time without tools. When the wheel turns, the illuminating tube creates a continuous light circle that is easily visible from the side.
The lights are designed for car-type valves (Schrader), which can be found on most mountain, trekking, and children's bicycles, as well as on motorcycles and cars. They cannot be fitted onto narrow presta valves, which are mainly used on road bicycles. Power is provided by button batteries stored inside the metal housing. The housing can be unscrewed, allowing for easy battery replacement, so the lights can be reused throughout the season.
The illuminating tube is particularly noticeable at dusk, at night, and when riding under street lighting, giving the bicycle an eye-catching effect. The valve lights are a decorative accessory that increases the visibility of the bicycle from the side but do not replace the required front and rear lighting of the bicycle. Before installation, unscrew the original cap from the valve and keep it handy for when you need to remove the lights. Then screw the light on by hand until it is tight, without using tools or excessive force to avoid damaging the valve thread. You can check the pressure and inflate the tyre as before, just unscrew the light first. The housing only needs to be wiped occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth to keep it shiny.
A pair of illuminating valve lights is a simple way to refresh the appearance of a bicycle or motorcycle while also making it more noticeable during evening rides.
