The Kalimba Hluru with 34 keys is a thumb piano for players who find the range of a standard seventeen-key kalimba insufficient. The keys are arranged in two rows stacked above one another, allowing you to play melodies and semitones necessary for more complex pieces on one instrument. The instrument is tuned in the key of B and is suitable for solo play, accompaniment for singing, and home recording. The body is made of black walnut with a stamped relief of the tree of life in the centre. The kalimba does not have a resonant hole; the entire body is a solid wooden board.
The dimensions of the instrument are approximately 18 x 14 cm, making it comfortable to hold in both hands, and your thumbs can easily reach the keys of both the upper and lower rows. The metal keys rest on a solid wooden bridge, and according to the seller, the keys of the lower row can also be tuned. The notes are not engraved into the keys. Instead, you will find stickers with tone markings in the package, which you can apply to the keys as needed. This keeps the surface of the keys clean, and you can adjust the markings at any time according to how you retune the instrument. The upper row of keys is positioned above the lower row, so when playing, you transition between rows with just a small movement of your thumb and quickly get used to the layout.

The included sensor with cable is used to amplify the kalimba, for example, when playing with other instruments, at smaller performances, or during recording. The tuning hammer allows you to adjust the key slightly inwards or outwards to fine-tune its pitch. The songbook in English offers pieces that will help you master playing both rows of keys. After playing, wipe the instrument with the included cloth and store it in the case, which protects it during transport and storage. Do not leave the kalimba in direct sunlight or in damp conditions, as both the wood and metal keys will remain in good condition.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
