The kalimba with crane and mountain design combines simple play with a striking appearance. On the front of the brown wooden box, two flying cranes, a mountain peak, and a flowering branch are laser-engraved, while the round sound hole in the centre resembles a moon rising above the mountains. The thumb piano features 21 metal keys factory-tuned, so you can start playing immediately. The hollow resonance box amplifies the vibrations of the keys, giving the tones a clear, ringing character. The instrument is suitable for beginners as well as for players who already have experience with the kalimba.
The keys are metal with a galvanised finish to prevent corrosion, slightly curved at the ends for comfortable thumb control, and marked with tone numbers. The beam under the keys is made of dense beech wood, which keeps the tuning stable and transmits sound well throughout the box. In addition to the front hole, the kalimba also has two sound holes on the back. By covering these with your fingers, you can enhance, prolong, or create a vibrato effect with the tones. The sides of the box are shaped to ensure the instrument comfortably rests in your hands while playing.

After playing, wipe the keys with the included cloth and store the kalimba in the bag to protect it from dust and scratches. If the tone of any key becomes out of tune over time, you can adjust it with the tuning mallet by gently tapping its end. You can place the stickers on the keys as colourful markers to facilitate learning new songs. Protect the wooden box from moisture and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
