The kalimba with a boat and water birds motif is a wooden thumb piano with a calm, almost pictorial decoration. Around the round sound hole is a laser-engraved boat on the water's surface, a pair of water birds, and flowering branches that frame the entire front of the brown body. The instrument has 21 metal keys factory-tuned, so you can start playing right after unpacking. The hollow resonant body gives the tones a long sustain and pleasant depth. The kalimba can be handled by both beginners and players with some experience.
The metal keys are galvanically treated against corrosion, and their ends are slightly bent to allow the thumbs to glide easily over them. The numbers of the notes marked directly on the keys facilitate playing from numerical sheet music. The keys are held by a beam made of dense beech wood, which transmits their vibrations to the body and aids in stable tuning. On the back, there are two smaller sound holes. By alternately covering them with your fingers, you can produce a reinforced, extended, or wavering tone.

Store the instrument in the included bag to protect the wood and keys from dust and impacts. Wipe the keys with the cleaning cloth after playing. If the pitch of any key shifts, you can tune it with the tuning mallet by gently tapping its top or bottom end. The coloured stickers serve as markers on the keys, helping you orient yourself more quickly while learning. Do not leave the kalimba in damp conditions or in direct sunlight, as the wooden body will maintain its shape and appearance for longer.

- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
