The kalimba with 17 keys and an engraved deer motif is a portable thumb piano that is easy for both beginners and more experienced musicians to play. The wooden resonant box measures 18 x 12.5 x 3.3 cm, making it comfortably fit in the hands and playable with both thumbs. The metal keys have a corrosion-resistant finish and are slightly curved at the ends for a smooth thumb glide. Each key is marked with its note, allowing you to master your first melodies by numbers in no time. The front features a laser-burned silhouette of a deer's head with impressive antlers, decorative branches, and a ribbon.
Sound is produced by the vibration of the metal tongues, which transmit their oscillations to the hollow wooden box. On the back, you will find two resonant holes that amplify the sound and allow for gentle vibrato by alternately covering them with your fingers. The tone is clear, soft, and ringing, making the instrument suitable for relaxation, accompanying singing, or quiet playing at home in the evening. It can be played sitting or standing; simply hold the instrument loosely in your hands and pluck the keys with the pads or nails of your thumbs. The kalimba is handmade, so actual dimensions may vary slightly.

When a note becomes out of tune over time, simply tap the end of the key gently with the tuning hammer and adjust it slightly up or down. After playing the kalimba, wipe it with the included cloth to prevent fingerprints on the metal keys, and store it in the bag to protect it from dust and scratches. Do not leave the instrument in direct sunlight or in a damp environment for extended periods, as this will help the wood maintain its nice appearance. You can place the stickers from the package on selected keys as reference points while playing.
The kalimba with a deer motif is a practical instrument for anyone who wants to enjoy music without extensive learning. With 17 keys marked with notes, you can play simple songs as well as more complex pieces. The package includes everything needed to get started, from the tuning hammer to sheet music and a storage bag. Its compact size makes it easy to take the instrument on trips, to a holiday home, or to school. It also makes a unique musical gift for birthdays or Christmas.
