Hydroponic net pots in a pack of ten are designed for growing plants in water and nutrient solution. The pot has a diameter including the rim of 5 cm and a height of 5 cm, making it a versatile size for herbs and leafy greens. The walls are cut with vertical slots through which roots can freely grow into the solution while also breathing. The expanded top rim secures the pot in the opening of a board, tube, or tank lid. The plastic material is lightweight, making it easy to work with the pots during planting and harvesting.
The internal diameter of the opening is 38.5 mm, allowing for a larger growing sponge, mineral wool cube, or handful of clay pebbles to fit inside the pot. The pots are suitable for NFT tube systems, hydroponic towers, and home containers with a board, where they hold the plant in a stable position above the water level. With ten pieces in the pack, you can easily populate an entire growing system or replace older pots. After cultivation, simply wash them, and they can be reused.
The size of five centimetres is sufficient for plants that grow in the system for several weeks and develop a more extensive root system. The pot firmly holds the stem and substrate, preventing the plant from tipping over even with stronger water flow in the tubes. During pre-cultivation, you can place the pots in a bowl of water, and after rooting, insert them with the plant into the growing system without the need for repotting. This saves delicate roots, and the plant continues to grow more quickly. The pots are also useful for rooting cuttings of houseplants.

Before planting, rinse the pots with clean water and fill them with a suitable inert substrate, such as a growing sponge or clay pebbles. Insert the pot into the opening so that its bottom touches the nutrient solution or is just above it. Once the roots grow through the slots, the plant receives water and nutrients directly from the tank. After harvesting, clean the pots with warm water and allow them to dry.
The set of ten hydroponic pots offers a universal size for most herbs and leafy greens. The dimension of 5 x 5 cm provides ample space for the roots while fitting well into standard growing boards. Vertical slots allow for free root growth and aeration. The pots are lightweight, easy to clean, and durable for repeated use. How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
