The universal hand weeder with a length of 40 cm offers a balanced ratio between reach and precision. It is suitable for weeding between rows of carrots, onions, lettuce, or strawberries, in ornamental beds, and on rockeries where careful work is needed among stones. The lower part of the head consists of 4 pointed teeth, which loosen the compacted soil around the root of the weed. The upper sickle-shaped part with hooks is used to catch and pull out the plant. With this length, you can reach the centre of the bed without stepping between the plants.
The tool is made of metal in black and consists of a thin rod, working head, and cylindrical handle. The head measures approximately 4 x 8.5 cm and, thanks to its narrow profile, can pass even among densely growing seedlings. The thin rod allows you to guide the tip precisely where you need it, such as into the gaps between the stones of the rockery or into the joints of paving. The hoe can also be used for lightly loosening the soil surface or for raking grass from ditches and corners of the garden.

Weeds are best removed from slightly moist soil, from which the roots easily loosen. Insert the teeth into the ground as close to the stem as possible, brace the tool, and lever the root free. Then catch the plant with the sickle-shaped head and pull it out. For rockeries and paving, guide the tip along the joint and scrape out the grass. After use, clean the tool of soil residues, let it dry, and store it in a dry place, ideally hanging on the wall of the shed.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
