Grafting shears for V-cut with a pair of replacement blades are designed for gardeners and orchardists who graft regularly and want to have spare blades on hand. When grafting, first create a V-cut in the rootstock, then shape the graft into a wedge and insert it into the cut so that the cambium of both parts touches. Wrap the joint with grafting tape and allow it to heal. Clean the blades after each use to remove sap, wipe them dry, and store the tool in a dry place. Once the blades start to shred the bark instead of making a clean cut, simply replace them with the included spare pair. The replacement takes only a few minutes, and the tool is then ready for precise cutting again.
