Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you desire a smooth action without a tactile bump and without a click. The yellow variant features a medium stiff action with an operating force of 50 ± 15 gf and a bottom-out force of 67 gf, making the key slightly stiffer than red switches, yet still easy to press. The switches have 3 pins and an MX-style cross stem, compatible with most standard keycaps. The pack contains 50 switches, sufficient for a compact keyboard layout of around 40% or for replacing the entire alphanumeric section of a standard keyboard.
The third generation G Pro introduces reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The upper housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses the light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, and the light disperses more evenly under the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubed, providing a smooth action right out of the box without the need for further modification. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, total travel up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 15.4 mm.

Before replacement, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with pin holes for the switch pins; they are not compatible with socket types that require soldering. Before inserting, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch perpendicularly and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is useful for removing the original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow switches will be appreciated mainly by those seeking a balanced linear action between light and stiffer switches. The slightly higher operating force reduces unwanted presses during typing and gaming, while the smooth action without a tactile bump allows for rapid repeated presses. The pack of 50 pieces will cover a compact keyboard with 40 to 48 keys or the entire alphanumeric and numeric section of a larger keyboard. If you have a keyboard with a larger number of keys, you can equip the main section with yellow switches and use other switches for the remaining keys. Thanks to the factory lubrication and transparent housing, the switches are ready to use immediately after unpacking and look great even with backlighting.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
