Gateron G Pro 3.0 White linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want a smooth actuation without a tactile bump and without a click. The white variant is one of the lightest switches in the G Pro 3.0 series with an actuation force of 38 ± 15 gf and a bottom-out force of 45 gf, so the key is pressed with minimal effort, and your fingers do not tire as quickly during long typing sessions. The switches feature 3 pins and a cross-shaped MX stem, which fits most standard keycaps. The package contains 30 switches, sufficient for equipping a smaller macro keyboard or numeric keypad, or for replacing the most used parts of a keyboard.

The third generation of G Pro introduces reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The upper housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, and the light diffuses more evenly under the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubricated, so the actuation is smooth right out of the box and does not require additional adjustment. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, with a total travel distance of up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 20 mm.

Before replacing, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins; they are not compatible with socket types that use clip-in switches. Before inserting, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch perpendicular and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is handy for removing the original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.

Gateron G Pro 3.0 White switches are especially appreciated by those who prefer a light touch and spend a lot of time at their keyboard. The low actuation force means that the key responds to even a slight press, and the light linear actuation is smooth from start to finish of the travel. Lighter switches are also suitable for those whose fingers tire quickly on stiffer keys. The set of 30 pieces is practical for replacing parts of a keyboard, equipping a macro keyboard or numeric keypad, and there will be a few spares left over. The white switches can also be combined with stiffer switches on other keys if you want a light touch only on selected keys. Thanks to the factory lubrication and transparent housing, the switches are ready to use right out of the box and look great even with backlighting.
