Gateron G Pro 3.0 Silver linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want smooth operation without a tactile bump and no click, while achieving the fastest actuation possible. The Silver variant has a shortened pre-travel of 1.2 ± 0.6 mm and an operating force of 45 ± 15 gf with an end force of 50 gf, allowing the key to actuate with just a short and light press. The switches feature 3 pins and an MX type cross stem, compatible with most standard keycaps. The package contains 90 switches, sufficient for equipping a full keyboard without a numeric section (TKL) with 87 keys or a keyboard with a 75% layout, which has around 84 keys.
The third generation G Pro brings reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The upper housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, and the light is distributed more evenly under the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubricated, providing a smooth operation right out of the box without the need for further adjustment. The pre-travel is 1.2 ± 0.6 mm, the total travel is up to 3.4 mm, and the spring length is 22 mm.

Before replacing, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins, as they are not compatible with socket types that are compatible with the switch. Before insertion, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch perpendicularly and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is useful for removing the original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
Gateron G Pro 3.0 Silver switches are especially appreciated by those who desire quick keyboard response for both gaming and typing. A pre-travel of only 1.2 mm means that the key actuates sooner than with switches that have a pre-travel of 2.0 mm, and the fast linear action without a tactile bump allows for very rapid repeated presses. The shorter total travel of up to 3.4 mm also reduces finger movement with each press. The set of 90 pieces is sufficient for a complete installation of a TKL keyboard or a keyboard with a 75% layout, with several switches remaining as spares in case of damage. It is a practical choice if you want to convert a keyboard without a numeric section to a uniform fast linear action. Thanks to factory lubrication and the transparent housing, the switches are ready to use right out of the box and stand out well with backlighting.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
