Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you desire a smooth action without a tactile bump and without a click. The red variant in the G Pro 3.0 series has a lighter actuation force of 45 ± 15 gf and a bottom-out force of 50 gf, making the key easy to press and reducing finger fatigue even during prolonged typing. The switches feature 3 pins and an MX-style cross stem, compatible with most standard keycaps. The package contains 90 switches, sufficient for equipping an entire TKL keyboard without a numeric section (87 keys) or a keyboard with a 75% layout, which has around 84 keys.
The third generation of G Pro introduces reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The top housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, and the light diffuses more evenly under the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubricated, ensuring a smooth action right out of the box without the need for further modification. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, total travel up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 20.5 mm.

Before replacing, ensure that your keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins; it is not compatible with socket types that use a clip-in switch. Check that the pins are straight before inserting, and insert the switch perpendicularly and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is useful for removing original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red switches are especially appreciated by those who prefer a light linear action and want the key to respond with minimal effort. The lower actuation force saves fingers during long typing sessions, and the consistent action without a tactile bump allows for rapid repeated presses during gaming. If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
