The Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you desire a smooth action without a tactile bump and click. The red variant features a lighter action with an operating force of 45 ± 15 gf and a bottom-out force of 50 gf, allowing the key to be pressed easily, and your fingers won't tire as much even during extended typing sessions. The switches have 3 pins and an MX-style cross stem, which fits most standard keycaps. The pack contains 50 switches, sufficient for a compact keyboard layout of around 40% or to replace the entire alphanumeric section of a standard keyboard.
The third generation G Pro introduces reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The top housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses the light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, and the light diffuses more evenly under the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubricated, ensuring a smooth action right out of the box without the need for further modification. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, with a total travel distance of up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 20.5 mm.

Before replacement, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins; they are not compatible with socket types that use a clamp. Before inserting, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch vertically and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is useful for removing the original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
The Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red switches will be appreciated by those who enjoy a light linear action and want the key to respond with minimal effort. The lower operating force saves your fingers during long typing sessions, and the even action without a tactile bump allows for rapid repeated presses while gaming. The pack of 50 covers a compact keyboard with 40 to 48 keys, or the entire alphanumeric and numeric section of a larger keyboard. If you have a keyboard with more keys, you can equip the main typing area with red switches and use stiffer switches for the remaining keys. Thanks to the factory lubrication and transparent housing, the switches are ready to use right out of the box and look great even with backlighting.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
