Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you desire a smooth action without a tactile bump or click. The red variant in the G Pro 3.0 series features a lighter action with an operating force of 45 ± 15 gf and a bottom-out force of 50 gf, making the key easy to press and reducing finger fatigue even during extended typing. The switches have 3 pins and an MX-style cross stem, compatible with most standard keycaps. The pack contains 100 switches, sufficient to outfit an entire keyboard with a 96% layout, approximately 96 to 100 keys, or a TKL keyboard with a reserve.
The third generation G Pro features reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The top housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting where the light diffuses more evenly under the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubed, ensuring a smooth action right out of the box without the need for additional modification. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, total travel is up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 20.5 mm.

Before replacement, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with pin holes for the switch pins, as switches are not compatible with socket types that are not designed for hot-swapping. Before inserting, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch perpendicularly and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, not included in the package, is useful for removing original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
