Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown tactile switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want to feel a tactile bump upon pressing, but do not want a loud click. The brown variant features a medium resistance with an actuation force of 55 ± 15 gf, ensuring that the key does not feel too light or too heavy. The switches have 3 pins and a cross stem of the MX type, compatible with most standard keycaps. The pack contains 50 switches, sufficient for a compact keyboard layout of around 40% or for replacing the entire alphanumeric section of a standard keyboard.
The third generation G Pro introduces reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The upper housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, with light diffusing more evenly beneath the key compared to the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubed, providing a smooth action right out of the box without the need for additional modification. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, with a total travel distance of up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 20.5 mm.

Before replacement, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins, as it is not compatible with socket types that use a switch clamp. Before inserting, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch vertically and without excessive force to prevent bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is useful for removing the original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
Gateron G Pro 3.0 Brown switches are particularly appreciated by those who type a lot and want clear feedback that a key has been pressed. The tactile bump during the travel helps to recognise the moment of actuation, so there is no need to bottom out the key, and the tactile action remains quieter than that of clicky switches. The pack of 50 pieces will cover a compact keyboard with 40 to 48 keys, or the entire alphanumeric and numeric section of a larger keyboard. If you have a keyboard with more keys, you can equip the main typing section with brown switches and use different switches for the remaining keys. Thanks to factory lubrication and the transparent housing, the switches are ready to use immediately after unpacking and will stand out well even with backlighting.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
