Gateron G Pro 3.0 Black linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you desire a smooth action without a tactile bump and without a click. The black variant is among the stiffest linear switches in the G Pro 3.0 series, with an operating force of 60 ± 15 gf and a bottoming force of 70 gf, providing noticeable resistance and better finger retention. The switches feature 3 pins and a cross stem type MX, compatible with most standard keycaps. The package contains 70 switches, sufficient for a complete 60% or 65% keyboard layout, approximately 61 to 68 keys.
The third generation G Pro introduces reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The upper housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, allowing light to disperse more evenly under the key than in the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubricated, ensuring a smooth action right out of the box without the need for additional adjustments. The pre-travel is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, total travel up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 15.4 mm.

Before replacement, ensure that the keyboard has hot-swap sockets with pin holes for the switch pins, as they are not compatible with socket types that use clips. Check that the pins are straight before inserting, and insert the switch vertically and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, not included in the package, is useful for removing original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
Gateron G Pro 3.0 Black switches are particularly appreciated by those who prefer a stiffer linear feel and do not want the key to respond to a light touch of the finger. If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
