Gateron G Pro 3.0 Black linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want a smooth action without a tactile bump and without a click. The black variant is one of the stiffest linear switches in the G Pro 3.0 series, with an operating force of 60 ± 15 gf and a bottom-out force of 70 gf, making the key provide noticeable resistance and allowing your finger to stay on it better. The switches have 3 pins and an MX type cross stem, which fits most standard keycaps. The pack contains 10 switches, which is useful for trying out a stiffer linear feel or for replacing a few of the most frequently used keys, such as the spacebar or the WASD keys.
The third generation of G Pro features reinforced pins that are more resistant to bending without increasing their thickness. The upper housing is transparent and, according to the manufacturer, better focuses light, making the switches suitable for keyboards with SMD RGB backlighting, and the light disperses more evenly under the key than in the previous version 2.0. The switches are factory lubricated, so the action is smooth right out of the box and no additional modification is necessary. The pre-travel is 2.0 ± 0.6 mm, the total travel is up to 4.0 mm, and the spring length is 15.4 mm.

Before replacing, ensure that your keyboard has hot-swap sockets with holes for the switch pins, as they are not compatible with socket types that require clips. Before inserting, check that the pins are straight, and insert the switch perpendicularly and without excessive force to avoid bending the pins. A switch puller, which is not included in the package, is useful for removing the original switches from a hot-swap keyboard.
Gateron G Pro 3.0 Black switches are especially appreciated by those who prefer a stiffer linear action and do not want the key to react to the lightest touch of a finger. The higher operating force helps to reduce unwanted key presses while typing or gaming, and the smooth action without a tactile bump allows for rapid repeated presses. The smaller pack is practical if you want to first try the black switches on a few keys and then decide whether to equip the entire keyboard with them. They are also suitable as replacements for several damaged or non-functional switches of the same type. Thanks to the factory lubrication and transparent housing, the switches are ready to use right out of the box and look great even with backlighting.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
