Galileo Thermometer with 7 Coloured Balls Height 28 cm Borosilicate Glass Metal Tags Desk Decoration for Living Room and Office
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The Galileo thermometer with 7 coloured balls is a more prominent desk decoration that indicates the approximate temperature in the room. The glass cylinder, standing at 28 cm, is made of borosilicate glass and inside the clear liquid, seven coloured glass balls float. Each of them carries a metal tag with the temperature in degrees Celsius. Each of the seven balls corresponds to a different temperature value, allowing you to continuously monitor changes in the room. The thermometer stands out well on a dresser, in a bookshelf, on a dining table, or in an office.
The thermometer utilises the principle discovered by physicist Galileo Galilei, that the density of a liquid changes with temperature. When heated, the liquid thins and the balls gradually sink to the bottom; when cooled, they rise back up. The temperature is indicated by the lowest ball in the upper group. The cylinder stands on a glass base, requires no batteries or power supply, and makes no sound. The tall cylinder with seven balls acts as an elegant glass object that complements both modern and classic interiors.
The balls are made of glass, each containing liquid of a different colour, making it easy to distinguish the individual values even from the opposite side of the room. The metal tags with numerical data hang beneath the balls and are clearly visible through the transparent walls of the cylinder. The thermometer also serves as a visual demonstration of a physical phenomenon, appreciated by students, teachers, and curious children alike. The seven balls add dynamism to the spectacle of their slow movement throughout the day, ensuring the thermometer always offers something new to observe.

When transporting, hold the cylinder with both hands and ensure it does not fall.
The Galileo thermometer with 7 balls is a stylish accessory that combines decoration with the simple function of measuring temperature. The tall glass cylinder attracts attention in both the living room and the office. The coloured balls with metal tags will be appreciated by lovers of physics, design, and unique accessories. The thermometer makes a suitable gift for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or as a corporate gift. You can read the temperature at a glance without batteries or adjustments.
