The Galileo thermometer with 5 coloured balls is a compact glass ornament that also indicates the temperature in the room. The cylinder, standing at 18 cm, is made of borosilicate glass and is filled with a clear liquid in which the glass balls float freely. Each ball has a metal tag hanging from it, indicating the temperature in degrees Celsius. Each of the five balls corresponds to a different temperature value, allowing you to monitor changes in the room continuously. The principle of the thermometer is based on the discovery by physicist Galileo Galilei that the density of a liquid changes with temperature. For the most accurate reading, place the thermometer away from direct sunlight, heating, and drafts. When all the balls are floating at the surface, the temperature is lower than the lowest value on the tags. When all are resting at the bottom, it is higher than the highest value. The surface of the glass can be wiped with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. As this is a glass product, position it to prevent it from falling off the table.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
