Medium-sized felting needles in size M represent a universal medium size for dry felting wool. They are primarily used for shaping figures and adding details once the basic shape is already firm. The package contains 100 needles of the same size, ensuring a long-lasting supply. The total length of the needle is 8.6 cm, which provides comfortable handling and sufficient reach into the material. The needles are stored in a transparent plastic tube with a blue cap.
The working part of the needle measures 2.0 cm and is equipped with 9 barbs, arranged three on each side at staggered intervals. With each puncture, the barbs catch the fibres, interlock them, and the material gradually becomes firmer and smaller. The medium size is suitable for modelling heads, limbs, ears, tails, and for joining individual parts together. The end of the needle is bent into an L shape, making it easy to hold between fingers and suitable for holders for multiple needles.

Insert the needle into the wool perpendicularly and pull it out at the same angle at which it entered the material. Do not twist it sideways or bend it, as the thin needle may break. Place a foam or brush pad under the workpiece to protect the table and the tip. After use, store the needles back in the tube, where they are protected and there is no risk of accidental poking. Keep them out of reach of children. Finer punctures of medium size can be combined with coarser shaping, so with one needle you can manage a large part of the work on the figure.
The medium size is suitable for both beginners and advanced users, as it can handle most common tasks from firming to modelling smaller shapes. Size M needles are a practical foundation for anyone creating animals, dolls, Christmas decorations, or wool pictures using the dry felting technique. If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
