Size L felting needles are the longest of the three available sizes and are primarily used for basic wool shaping. They are used to start every project, as they quickly firm up loose wool into the desired shape. The pack contains 100 needles of one size, providing you with a supply for many products. Each needle measures 9.1 cm and, due to its greater length, reaches deeper into bulkier material. The needles are stored in a transparent plastic tube with a blue lid.
The working part of the needle is 2.3 cm long and has 9 barbs, three on each side at staggered intervals. The barbs catch the wool fibres upon insertion and interlock them, causing the material to compact and take shape. The longer working part is advantageous for larger figures, balls, cushions, and basic shapes that need to be quickly firmed up. Size L is also suitable for beginners who are just getting acquainted with the dry felting technique. The end of the needle is bent into an L shape, allowing for a secure grip in the fingers and in holders for multiple needles.

Insert the needle into the wool perpendicularly and pull it out in the same direction it entered the material. Do not pry with it or bend it, as it may break. Place the workpiece on a foam or brush mat, which protects the table and the needle tip. After finishing your work, store the needles back in the tube, where they are safely hidden and easily accessible. Keep the needles out of reach of children. When working for extended periods, it is advisable to take short breaks and monitor where the needle is pointing to avoid pricking your fingers.
The set of size L needles is suitable for anyone starting with wool felting, as well as experienced creators who need to quickly shape the base of a figure. - We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
