The external enclosure for M.2 SSD drives supports both the most common protocols, allowing you to insert an NVMe and SATA drive. It is therefore useful even if you have an older SATA drive from a laptop and a newer NVMe drive and want to use both as portable storage. At the ends of the enclosure are sturdy USB-C and USB-A connectors, so you can connect it to a computer, laptop, or phone without cables or adapters. The USB 3.2 Gen2 interface allows for transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s with an NVMe drive, while the speed with SATA drives is lower depending on the drive's capabilities. It supports drives of lengths 2242, 2260, and 2280 with a capacity of up to 4 TB.
The body is made of aluminium alloy with longitudinal ribbing that helps dissipate heat from the drive while also providing a comfortable grip. The connectors at both ends are covered by snap-on caps that protect them from dust and damage when carried in a pocket or backpack. The slim shape resembles a larger USB flash drive, making the enclosure take up minimal space in a bag. The aluminium surface heats up during prolonged use, which is normal and does not limit functionality.

Before purchasing, please check what protocol and key your drive has; the enclosure supports NVMe with M-Key and SATA with B+M Key. Drivers are not required; the enclosure recognises Windows, macOS, and Linux. To connect it to an Android phone or tablet, use USB-C, provided the device supports OTG functionality. A new drive must be initialised and formatted in disk management before first use. After use, please replace the caps on the connectors.

How do I return goods?

How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
