The external box for M.2 SATA SSD is a simple way to turn an NGFF drive removed from a laptop or mini PC into portable storage. The case is designed for M.2 SATA drives with B-Key and B+M Key in lengths of 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 with a capacity of up to 4 TB. Data transfer occurs at speeds of up to 5 Gb/s, which corresponds to the capabilities of SATA drives. The included cable has a USB-A connector for the computer and USB-C for the case, allowing you to connect it to most desktop computers and laptops. The slim body easily fits into a backpack pocket.
The case shell is made of aluminium with fine longitudinal grooves, protecting the drive during transport. The drive is inserted without tools and screws: the cover at the end slides off, the inner part slides out, the drive is inserted into the connector, and the case is closed again. An LED indicator on the side shows the connection and activity of the drive. The controller supports UASP and TRIM functions. This version for SATA drives is supplied without a cooler or thermal pad. The case is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android systems, allowing you to connect it to a computer, laptop, or tablet.

The case works as plug and play, so no drivers need to be installed after connection. The new drive must be initialised and formatted in disk management before first use. The USB-A connector cable can also be used with older computers without a USB-C port. Clean the aluminium surface with a dry cloth, protect the case from moisture and impacts, and safely eject the drive by removing the device properly.
An older M.2 SATA drive does not have to sit unused in a drawer. This box turns it into a practical portable drive for backups, photos, or documents. Support for lengths of 2230 to 2280 covers common drives from laptops and mini PCs. The USB-A to USB-C cable is suitable for most computers in the office and at home. The aluminium body and simple tool-free installation make the case a reliable companion for everyday use.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
