The DEGEN DE13 emergency radio is a small receiver that fits in a backpack, car, or home emergency kit. It gains power in three ways: by turning the hand crank with dynamo, from the sun via the solar panel on the top, or from a USB source. It receives broadcasts in FM, AM, and two shortwave bands, so you can catch news and announcements even where the internet and electricity do not work. It is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery 1000 mAh, which is included in the package. The compact plastic body fits comfortably in the hand and pocket.
In addition to listening to the radio, the DE13 also serves as a backup source of light and energy. On the side is an LED torch with a reflector, which can provide light during a power outage, while camping, or when travelling in the dark. Through the USB output, you can charge your mobile phone in an emergency and stay in contact with loved ones. In case of danger, the SOS alarm will help, combining a siren with a light signal to make it easier for others to find you. The radio can also be powered by standard AAA batteries, which can be inserted in place of the rechargeable battery.

Operation is simple and can be handled by anyone. You select the band using the sliding switch, tune the station with the dial on the side, and adjust the volume with the rotary knob on the front. The torch and alarm functions are activated by a switch next to the solar panel. The radio is not waterproof, so protect it from rain and moisture. Keep the solar panel clean to ensure optimal charging from the sun, and periodically charge the battery even when the radio is not in use. Turn the crank smoothly and without sudden jerks.
The DEGEN DE13 combines a radio, torch, phone charger, and warning siren in one device measuring 13.3 x 6.2 x 4.7 cm. - Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
