First, determine where the letter should be on the garment and preheat the iron to approximately 150 °C. Place the patch adhesive side down onto the fabric, cover it with a piece of cotton cloth, and hold the iron for about 20 to 30 seconds. The cotton layer protects the plush surface and the clothing from direct contact with the hot iron. Then allow the letter to cool so that the adhesive sets reliably. For sweaters, leather, mesh, and very smooth or rough fabrics, we recommend further securing the patch with a few stitches using needle and thread.
