Earring stoppers in a pack of 500 pcs are classic metal backs in the shape of a butterfly, which you will recognise from most studs. Each stopper measures 5 x 3.7 mm, is unobtrusive, and is almost invisible behind the ear. The two curled wings create a narrow channel into which the post of the earring is inserted. The back stays on the post due to friction and holds the stud against the earlobe. The larger pack is especially appreciated by those who make their own earrings or need a supply for a longer period.
The butterfly back is the most common type of closure for studs and is suitable for most earrings with a straight thin post. It slides onto the post from the back until it rests against the ear and is removed by simply pulling it off. Thanks to the metal construction, the stopper is sturdy yet small. If the stopper loosens over time, simply pinch the wings together gently and the back will hold more securely again. To attach the stopper, after inserting the stud into your ear, slide it onto the post from the back until it reaches the lobe. When removing it, grasp the edges and gently pull it off the post. You can wipe the stoppers with a dry or slightly damp cloth and let them air dry. To prevent loss, store them in a small box or bag along with your earrings. When making jewellery, you can prepare some stoppers in an organiser next to the components for the studs.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
