The stud set with backings includes everything you need to create your own stud earrings. The package contains 100 studs and 100 backings, so each stud has its closure. All parts are made from stainless steel 316L, which does not rust and withstands everyday wear well. The flat round pad with a diameter of 6 mm is used for attaching a gemstone, bead, or other decoration. The quantity in the package is sufficient for making 50 pairs of earrings.
The pad with a diameter of 6 mm is particularly suitable for cabochons, pearls, and medium decorations. The pin is 12 mm long and corresponds to standard stud earrings. The butterfly backings measure 6 x 4.5 mm and securely hold the earring in the ear when slid onto the pin. The centre of the pad has a small indentation for easy centring of the decoration. The backings and studs match in material and colour, giving the finished earrings a cohesive appearance.
You can combine the studs with various materials. You can attach glass cabochons with your own design, polymer figures, buttons, small shells, dried flowers encased in resin, or stones from old jewellery to the pad. The simple shape of the component allows the decoration to stand out, while the pin and backing remain hidden behind the ear during wear. The kit is also suitable for repairing favourite earrings where the pin has broken or the closure has been lost. Simply carefully detach the old decoration and attach it to the new stud.

Before gluing, clean and degrease both the pad and the decoration to ensure the best possible bond. Use glue designed for jewellery and allow it to cure thoroughly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Store the finished earrings in a dry place and separately to prevent the decorations from scratching each other. You can occasionally wipe the metal parts with a soft dry cloth. The backings are also suitable as replacements for lost closures on other earrings with a similar thickness pin.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
