The stud kit with backings contains everything you need to make your own stud earrings. Inside the package, you will find 100 studs and 100 backings, so each stud has its own closure. All parts are made of stainless steel 316L, which does not rust and withstands everyday wear well. The flat round pad with a diameter of 4 mm is used for gluing a gemstone, bead, or other decoration. The quantity in the package is sufficient for making 50 pairs of earrings.
The pad with a diameter of 4 mm is suitable mainly for smaller gemstones, beads, and tiny cabochons. The pin has a length of 12 mm and corresponds to standard stud earrings. The butterfly backings measure 6 x 4.5 mm and securely hold the earring in the ear when slid onto the pin. In the centre of the pad, there is a small indentation for easy centring of the decoration. The backings and studs match in both material and colour, giving the finished earrings a uniform appearance.
You can combine the studs with various materials. You can glue glass cabochons with your own design, polymer figures, buttons, tiny shells, dried flowers encased in resin, or stones from old jewellery onto the pad. The simple shape of the component allows the decoration itself to stand out, while the pin and backing remain hidden behind the ear when worn. The kit is also suitable for repairing favourite earrings where the pin has broken or the closure has been lost. Simply carefully detach the old decoration and glue it onto a new stud.

Before gluing, clean and degrease both the pad and the decoration to ensure the bond holds as well as possible. Use adhesive designed for jewellery and accessories and allow it to cure thoroughly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Store the finished earrings in a dry place and separately to prevent the decorations from scratching each other. You can occasionally wipe the metal parts with a soft dry cloth. The backings are also suitable as replacements for lost closures on other earrings with a pin of similar thickness.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
