The Digital Height Gauge and Depth Gauge SHAHE is a practical assistant for any workshop where precise tool setting is essential. It measures within a range of 0 to 80 mm and displays the value on a clear LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm. It is suitable for setting the height of milling cutters on a milling table, the height of saw blades on a table saw, or for checking the depth of grooves, rebates, and holes. The gauge stands on two wide arched legs, making it easy to place on a workbench or over a workpiece. It is operated by three buttons located directly beneath the display.
The measuring rule with a scale moves vertically between the legs and can be secured in the desired position with a locking screw. When measuring height, the rule is lowered and rests against the item being measured, such as the tooth of a cutter or blade. For depth measurement, a removable tip is attached to the bottom of the rule, allowing access to narrow grooves or holes. When the tip is not needed, it can be stored in the groove on the leg of the gauge. The underside features a magnetic base, which helps keep the gauge in place on a metal machine table.

Before each measurement, place the gauge on a flat surface, align the rule with the bottom edge of the legs, and briefly press the ON/OFF/ZERO button to reset the display. The INC function allows you to zero the display at any position and measure the difference between two values, which is useful when gradually adjusting the tool in small increments. Use the mm/in/frac button to switch the display to millimetres, decimal inches, or fractions of an inch depending on the drawings you are working with. Keep the measuring surfaces clean and dry, and remove the battery from the compartment on the top of the head during prolonged periods of non-use.
The SHAHE digital gauge combines a height gauge and depth gauge into one compact tool that fits into a workbench drawer. The range of 0 to 80 mm covers the common settings for milling machines, saws, and drills in hobby workshops as well as when working with wood, plastic, or aluminium. The reading from the display is quicker and more reliable than reading from a scale, and with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm, you can repeatedly set the tool to the same value. - We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
