The SHAHE 5110 digital calliper with a range of 0 to 300 mm is designed for measuring large workpieces, plates, profiles, and long components that shorter gauges cannot accommodate. The LCD display shows values with a resolution of 0.01 mm, and you can switch the display between millimetres and inches with a single button. The main ruler, jaws, and depth measuring tongue are made of stainless steel, while the electronics are protected by a plastic case. The long outer jaws, measuring 60 mm, comfortably grasp wide and heavy parts. The overall length of the gauge is 390 mm.

The position of the slider is detected by a glass measuring grid, and the manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.04 mm for this length, which is fully sufficient for regular dimension checks in production and workshops. The ZERO button allows you to set the zero point anywhere within the range, enabling you to quickly compare parts with a template. The metal wheel beneath the display allows for smooth movement with your thumb, and the metal locking screw secures the jaw in the set position. The IP54 rating protects the electronics from dust and splashing water.

Always store the long gauge in the included plastic case to prevent the ruler from bending and the jaws from being damaged. After use, simply wipe the measuring surfaces with a dry cloth and turn off the gauge using the ON/OFF button. The battery can be inserted under the plastic cover on the front of the case, which opens by twisting. Before measuring, always close the jaws and ensure that the display shows zero, or reset it using the ZERO button. When measuring long parts, hold the gauge with both hands to prevent unnecessary strain on the ruler. If you do not use the calliper for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the battery.
