Claw caps in size L are designed for large cats weighing approximately 6–10 kg. The package contains 20 caps along with glue and an applicator, so you have everything needed for application right after unpacking. The caps are made of soft plastic and fit directly over the claw, covering it entirely like a small cap. Size L is suitable for cats weighing approximately 6–10 kg. It is worn by cats with a large and strong build and large breeds, such as the Maine Coon, which typically requires this size. For the correct selection, follow the weight and body structure of your cat. Before gluing, always try the cap dry, without glue. The correct cap fits snugly on the claw, similar to a glove on a finger, and covers the entire surface of the claw. If it seems too big, do not glue it and first adjust it by trimming. Each cap is applied individually, so you can verify the size gradually on each claw.

Application can be done at home in just a few minutes. Take the paw in your hand and gently press on the pad to extend the claws. First, test the caps and trim them as needed on the side of the opening. If the claw is longer than the cap, carefully shorten it by no more than 2 mm to avoid hitting the vein. Apply the glue using the included applicator directly into the cap, making it easy to target even the small opening. Then fill the cap about a third full, gently slide it onto the claw, and do not press it too hard. After applying all the caps, hold the cat in your arms for at least 5 to 7 minutes to allow the glue to dry.
The L size set is a solution for owners of large cats who want to protect furniture and skin from sharp claws. The package includes glue and an applicator, so you do not need to purchase anything extra. The caps are applied individually, allowing you to use them only on the paws that need them. Claw caps are suitable for households with new furniture, small children, or where the cat likes to scratch outside the scratching post. If the cap does not fit on the claw even after careful trimming of the tip, choose a different size.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
