The circular glass cutter with a 40 cm arm is designed for cutting larger circles from sheet glass and mirrors. It allows for a circular cut of up to 80 cm in diameter, making it suitable for large openings, round tabletops, and large round mirrors. The compass is secured with a suction cup in the centre of the circle, and the cutting head is guided around it along a precise circular path. The cutter is suitable for glass with a thickness of 3 to 10 mm. It is useful in home workshops, during renovations, in modelling, and for making glass decorations.
The cutting part consists of a rotating hexagonal head, which contains 6 numbered tungsten carbide wheels. A worn wheel can easily be replaced by rotating the head to the next number, ensuring the cutter lasts long and always has a sharp wheel available. The long arm features a clear metric scale for quick radius adjustment without further measuring. You can move the cutting head along the arm to the desired position and secure it with a screw. The round head on the top is comfortable to hold in the palm and facilitates guiding the cut with consistent pressure.

Before cutting, remove the glass from the frame and place it on a flat and soft surface. Position the suction cup in the centre of the desired circle, set the radius according to the scale, and trace the cutting line in one smooth motion. Then, flip the glass over and gently tap along the line from the other side until the glass breaks along the line. Cut the excess glass around the circle into smaller squares, which can then be slowly and gradually snapped off. The cutter does not have an oil reservoir, and its design is simple without the need for refilling.
The compass with a 40 cm arm is an ideal choice where smaller cutters are insufficient and a large regular circle needs to be cut out. The centre of the circle is securely held by the 54 mm suction cup, ensuring the tool does not shift during cutting. The six wheels in the rotating head extend the tool's lifespan, and the metric scale allows for precise radius adjustment. It can be used for making round mirrors, glass tabletop surfaces, pads, and decorations. If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
