Trainers for everyday use are primarily judged by how quickly they can be put on and how much room is left for the toes. The upper is made of breathable mesh with both coarse and fine textures, complemented by smooth panels over the toe and sides that cover the most stressed areas. A wide strap with Velcro fastening runs across the instep, beneath which are elastic laces threaded through loops that maintain the set width and do not need to be tied. A loop is sewn onto the heel, which helps to pull the shoe onto the foot. The sole consists of a thin rubber outsole with a smooth side and a slightly contoured profile, and the cut remains low beneath the ankle.

  • Velcro fastening — the strap across the instep can be adjusted to the width of the foot and fastens in one movement without adult assistance.
  • Elastic laces — stretchy laces keep the instep snug but do not need to be tied, so there is no risk of them coming undone during the day.
